It's a joy to introduce you to Ana Davis, a gifted Reiki Master Practitioner and owner of The Lighthouse Reiki Studio. Ana is an Usui/Holy Fire® III Master Practitioner who offers Reiki session to adults, teens and children in her beautiful studio in Avon, CT.

Ana's Reiki Journey

✧How did you first discover Reiki, and what inspired you to begin training?

The pandemic arrived as the complete reset button I never asked for. It came with two kids learning from home, a career that no longer fit, and a surge of anxiety that made just getting through the day feel like a marathon. I had never meditated or even heard of a “belly breath.” Yet, I found myself searching for something that could help. That’s when I tried Reiki for the first time. I didn’t know what to expect, but I left that table feeling lighter, calmer, and, for the first time in a long time, hopeful. I kept going back. Eventually, I realized that Reiki wasn’t just my pathway to healing; it’s my purpose. I trained as a Reiki master so I could give back what had helped me so deeply. I initially got trained in Reiki to volunteer at Hartford Hospital providing Reiki to cancer patients and caregivers ... and my experience has been so impactful that I have now opened my own studio - The Light House: A Reiki Studio

✧ How has Reiki supported or transformed your life?

Reiki has transformed my life - through Reiki, I learned to release what didn’t serve me, listen to what I truly need, and connect with myself in a way that felt real. Everyday for 3 years I woke up and asked myself, “what is my purpose?” Reiki helped me through this difficult journey of self reflection, self understanding, and taught me so many life lessons. One of the most important lessons I learned is - Often what is happening TO you is happening FOR you.

✧ What did your Reiki training journey look like?

I would not be here today with my own studio if it were not for my mentors who introduced me to the art of Reiki and energy healing — Chel Benyair, Benu Gopal, Caroline Paradis, and Laura Ramirez. These women have served as life-changing facilitators and guides for me, altering the course of my life's work in a way that I hope will enhance the lives of countless others who attend my practice. My Reiki mentorship with Laura Ramirez was incredibly important to my growth and confidence as a practitioner - the coaching and practice sessions enabled me to lessen the “imposter syndrome” that so many of us feel when starting out as a practitioner.

✧Who do you work with in your Reiki practice, and how can others partner with you?

In addition to offering 60 and 90 minute Reiki Sessions at my studio in Avon, CT, I provide teen and kid Reiki sessions! I would love to partner with other practitioners on future workshops and also for connection, collaboration, and mentoring! Please reach out to me!
