Reiki Training as a Launching Pad | ReikiTraining | CT

Reflections on Growth, Healing, and What Comes Next

December often invites me into a season of deeper reflection. As the energy of the year slows down, my mind and my heart naturally begin looking back at what has unfolded — and what it’s all leading toward.

One theme that keeps circling back for me lately is this:

Reiki is a launching pad.

It’s a funny phrase, but it perfectly captures how I’ve seen Reiki work in the lives of so many beautiful souls — including my own.

When I began my Reiki journey, I didn’t have a grand plan. I was curious. I felt a quiet pull toward something I couldn’t quite explain. Maybe I’d learn a tool to support myself or help others… maybe I wouldn’t. I just knew I wanted to follow that nudge.

Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching, training, and attuning many individuals to Reiki. And what I’ve noticed is that most people begin exactly the way I did — curious, a little unsure, but drawn by something deep within.

Reiki opens the heart. It clears space.

It reconnects us with who we really are.

And because of that…

Reiki is rarely the final destination.

Some students go on to offer Reiki professionally — supporting clients, volunteering in healthcare settings, or supporting their loved ones in meaningful ways. Others integrate Reiki into their existing work — therapy, education, nursing, bodywork, coaching, spiritual guidance.

And many discover that Reiki awakens something powerful:

✨ intuition✨ energetic sensitivity✨ connection with Source or God

✨ mediumship or channeled guidance✨ creativity and inspired purpose

Reiki as a Bridge to Something Greater

For many, Reiki quietly builds trust — trust in themselves, trust in the world, and trust in "something" greater.

It can open the door to faith, in whatever form feels right. Sometimes that looks like feeling supported by angels, guides, or loved ones in spirit. Other times it becomes a renewed or new connection to a more traditional spiritual or religious path. And for many, it’s simply believing in themselves more deeply than they ever have before.

Reiki becomes the spark.

The doorway. The heart-opener that reminds them of the beautiful light they carry and the unique gifts they have to offer the world.

Reiki also serves as a magnet.

It attracts like-minded, supportive community. Whether students connect with, classmates, teachers or eventually with their own clients and broader circles, there is a natural ripple effect. Time has allowed me the privilege of watching so many beautiful relationships, collaborations, and connections form as a direct result of stepping into Reiki training.

Here’s what I believe wholeheartedly:

Reiki training is never a waste.

It never goes unused. It serves us in ways we’re aware of — and in ways we may not fully understand yet.

Reiki tends to draw people who are ready for some kind of meaningful shift in their lives — even if they can’t name it. It’s accessible to everyone, regardless of background, belief system, prior experience, or skill level.

You don’t have to know why you’re drawn to it. You just have to trust that gentle nudge.

Reiki is like open arms. It welcomes the seekers, the healers, and the quietly curious. It meets each of us exactly where we are.

As I look ahead to 2026, I feel deeply grateful for every person who has stepped into this work with me. It’s an honor to be part of the beginning — part of the launch.

Because once your heart opens…once your energy settles into authenticity and trust…once you feel that beautiful flow of life moving through you…

There is no limit to what becomes possible from there. 💫
