I am passionate about supporting people in finding peace & joy in their lives!

I have always been drawn to understanding the human experience &  service lead work. My academic training includes a degree in Sociology with concentrations in Psychology & Anthropology and a Masters Degree in Counseling. Prior to opening my practice in 2021, I worked for 20 years as a school counselor.

​

As my interest in diverse approaches to "wellness" expanded, I completed a coaching certification course and all levels of Usui, Holy Fire & Karuna Reiki, reaching the designation of Reiki Master Teacher. 

​

My approach to most things, including my work is a combination of mindful, spiritual and practical.

​

I am a certified Reiki Master Teacher and Breathwork Coach. I have spent the majority of my career in wellness education. (Physical Education, Health, Exercise Science & Athletic Training), serving as a teacher and education consultant for 25 years and counting.

​I am a teacher at heart. I am a husband and father of five children. Family is the center of everything for me.

​

I experience daily, chronic pain that has decreased my ability to move and exercise in ways I once knew. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, which changed the way I could address stress, tension, anxiety, and physical pain. I decided to further explore ways to heal my life, without only relying on doctors or traditional methods of treatment, which disconnected me from myself. 

I decided to look inward. Breathwork, meditation, and Reiki gave me my life back - Literally! I remembered who I was, and connected back to the only person I was in control of…me!

 I truly live the “reiki way” and would enjoy helping athletes, coaches, facilitators, teachers, administrators and anyone needing relief from daily life come back to themselves, in order to give to others.
