How often should I get Reiki?
Each of us experiences Reiki in a unique and personal way. People schedule weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or quarterly sessions as a support to their overall wellness routines. When experiencing an acute concern, three sessions over three consecutive days, or as close together as possible, is recommended.
A Reiki plan that fits your unique needs can be created with your practitioner. It is highly recommended to schedule your next session before you leave your Reiki appointment, ensuring your self-care is prioritized and on the calendar. - Monthly sessions are most popular at my practice!
What should I wear for my Reiki session?
Comfortable clothing is recommended. If you are able, you will be lying face up, on a Reiki table during your session. Loose fitting, non-restrictive clothing is best. You will be invited to take off your shoes, if you’d like. You will remain fully clothed and have the option of lying on top of or under a blanket for warmth and comfort.
How should I prepare for my Reiki session?
One thing I personally love about Reiki is that the client does not need to do anything to prepare for their session.
That being said, here are a few tips on making the most of your session:
-
Dress comfortably. If you are coming from or heading to work, feel free to bring a change of clothes. There is a private room for changing.
-
Drink water. Being hydrated before and especially after your session is recommended.
-
Ask questions: You will have an opportunity to share information and ask questions before your session, and are encouraged to ask questions any time during your session.
-
Set an intention: If you are hoping your Reiki session supports you in a specific way, set that intention prior to your session.
What is a Distance Reiki session?
Distance Reiki is remote energy work and a wonderful option for those who want to experience the benefits of Reiki without an in-person session. It is a powerful and often unexpected form of deep relaxation.
What I will need: A photograph of you,, your preference for a Zoom or "unplugged" session.
I recommend you schedule your appointment for a time when you can relax. Some clients prefer distance Reiki occur while they sleep, while others will select a time where they can enjoy relaxing in a comfortable space without interruption. Relaxing music and aromatherapy are great additions to your personal relaxation space during a distance session. I offer sessions as early as 8 am EST. Please reach out if your preferred time is not available online and I will hand-schedule you.
My first experience with energy work was a remote session ... I was completely blown away by how deeply relaxing, informative & life changing it was! I am thrilled to offer this opportunity. You can find reviews from my Distance Reiki Clients here. I’m open to any questions you may have. (I had lots!)

What is the difference between counseling and coaching?
Life Coaching is a forward focused, action-oriented process driven by your vision for living your best life. Coaching leads with your strengths, goals, hopes & dreams. In both Coaching & Counseling, you partner with a professional who facilitates important conversation and provides support, structure and accountability in taking steps toward positive change.
*If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, it is important that you work with a licensed healthcare provider.
How often should I schedule coaching?
Bi-weekly sessions are most popular at my practice. The time between sessions may shift as progress is made or additional support is desired. Most clients select a day/time that works best for them and preschedule sessions so that coaching sessions are on the calendar and becomes a part of their routine.

You offer Coaching and Reiki, what if I want to do both?
I have clients who see me for both Coaching and Reiki services...and I fully support this! I even offer a session that incorporates both, called Reiki and Reflection if you'd like both on the same day.
